Robyn Hood/Miriam A. Hyman is a 2016 Leonore Annenberg Fellowship recipient for “Performing Arts,” and a 2012 Yale School of Drama graduate where she earned her MFA in acting. She was named the 2011 Princess Grace recipient of the George C. Wolfe award in Theater. A new comer to the hip hop game, her first mix tape Journey of an MC debuted in 2014 and can be heard via Soundcloud and Reverb Nation. Theatrically, she’s worked in NYC at LaMaMa, The Public, Manhattan Theater Club, and Lincoln Center. She recently made her McCarter Theatre debut as Berniece in “The Piano Lesson” and Posthumous Leonatus in William Shakespeare’s “Cymbeline” at Yale Rep. Film/TV- Split, The Congressman, Most Beautiful Island, Blue Bloods(recurring Medical Examiner, Emile Cooper) Master of None, Red Oaks, Unforgettable, Falling Water (2016 USA) pilot, The Blacklist, Hostages, 30 Rock, Law & Order, and The Wire. Hyman is also a featured character in the 2016 animated The Walking Dead Telltale games series.
